Makita LS0815FLN 240v Sliding Compound Mitre Saw

The Makita LS0815FL 216mm (8-1/2") slide compound mitre saw is an ideal choice for both first and second fix carpentry tasks on-site. 
Designed with practicality and performance in mind, it offers a feature set tailored for professional use.

This cost-effective saw includes a built-in laser marker and LED job light for enhanced cutting accuracy. 
It has a mitre range of 45° left to 60° right, with positive stops at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6°, and 45° to ensure quick and consistent angle settings. 
The smooth and precise sliding motion is supported by four steel guide bars and six linear ball bearings.

Powered by a 1,400W soft start motor, the saw delivers up to 5,000 rpm under no-load conditions. 
The cast alloy base and twin parallel sliding rails provide excellent rigidity and cutting accuracy at any angle. 
Unlike models with vertically stacked slides, the LS0815FL’s side-by-side configuration prevents the drive head from flexing, maintaining a straight cutting path.

Additional features include twin material support bars on either side of the base, a fixed fence on the right, and a sliding sub-fence on the left. 
The clamping post can be mounted on either side to accommodate various workpieces. 
A soft-grip handle makes it easier to carry the saw between locations.

Weighing just 14.2kg, the LS0815FL is lightweight enough for easy transport, yet sturdy enough for precise cutting tasks.
