The Makita DRT50ZJ 18V LXT Brushless Cordless Router is a powerful and versatile compact router designed for professional woodworking, cabinetry, joinery, edge trimming and profiling applications. Featuring an efficient Makita BL™ Brushless Motor, variable speed from 10,000 to 30,000rpm, constant speed control and soft start, the DRT50ZJ provides the performance and accuracy required for a wide range of routing and laminate trimming tasks.

This version is supplied body only in a Makita Makpac carry case. Batteries and chargers are sold separately.

Makita's BL™ brushless motor eliminates carbon brushes, allowing the motor to run cooler and more efficiently for improved runtime, performance and service life.

The 5-stage variable speed control offers a range of 10,000–30,000rpm, allowing users to select the appropriate speed for different materials, cutters and applications.

Precise & Controlled Routing

Electronic constant speed control maintains consistent rotational speed under load, helping achieve clean and accurate results.

The soft-start function reduces start-up shock for smoother operation, while the fine depth adjustment system provides precise control over cutting depth. An electric brake provides additional convenience and control.

Durable Aluminium Construction

The DRT50ZJ features a durable aluminium housing and base for improved accuracy and long-term jobsite durability.

A quick-release cam lock makes depth adjustments and base removal or installation fast and straightforward.

Dual LED Lights & Dust Extraction

Integrated dual LED work lights illuminate the cutting area for improved visibility and precision.

The supplied dust extraction connection allows the router to be connected to compatible Makita dust extractors and vacuum cleaners, helping maintain a cleaner working environment.

Versatile Base Compatibility

The DRT50 is compatible with bases used on Makita RT0700C and RT0701C compact routers, providing additional flexibility for users who already own compatible accessories.

It can also be used with a Makita guide rail when paired with the appropriate guide rail adaptor and plunge base, available separately.

Please note if your product is in stock at one of our other branches (Not Coventry) then these orders may take 2-5 days for delivery. Delivery is FREE on orders over 75.00 ex VAT.
